Step 4 on the roadmap has been delayed

Earlier this week the Government announced that England will not be proceeding to Step 4 of the lockdown roadmap as planned on 21st June.

Sport England has since confirmed that the existing volleyball guidance will remain the same until we reach Step 4. This could happen on 19th July at the earliest.

This means there will be no changes to their current guidance, which you can read by visiting www.volleyballengland.org/coronavirus.

With this delay all outdoor grass tournaments have been cancelled or postponed and Volleyball England has received several queries related to outdoor volleyball tournaments as a result of the news. Please read the updated list of FAQs to specifically address many of those questions. Please scroll down that page to read the specific information on outdoor tournaments.

Thank to everyone that is following the return to play protocols. If you have any questions or need some support, please get in touch info@readingaces.co.uk
